[Indications]

Amoxicillin is suitable for the following infections in adults and children caused by sensitive bacteria (non-β-lactamase producing strains) :

1. Otitis media, sinusitis, pharyngitis caused by Streptococcus hemolyticus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus or Haemophilus influenzae;

Upper respiratory tract infections such as tonsillitis.

2. Urogenital tract infections caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus singular or Enterococcus faecalis.

3. Skin and soft tissue infection caused by Streptococcus hemolyticus, Staphylococcus or Escherichia coli.

4. Acute bronchitis and pneumonia caused by Streptococcus hemolyticus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus or Haemophilus influenzae lower respiratory tract infection.

5. Combine with other drugs to eradicate Helicobacter pylori.

Use should refer to the official guidelines for clinical use of antibiotics.

[Usage and Dosage] Oral, cannot open the capsule, take with water. Food does not affect the absorption of this product.

Adults and Children

After the patient is asymptomatic or has obtained evidence of bacterial eradication, treatment should be continued for at least 48 to 72 hours. It is recommended to treat any infection caused by Streptococcus pyogenes for at least 10 days to prevent the occurrence of acute rheumatic fever. In some infections, treatment may take several weeks. Several months after stopping treatment, it may be necessary to continue clinical and/or bacteriological follow-up.

Children are recommended to choose a suitable dosage form.
